Another catch up post...

One last thing before we are fully up to speed!

This site has been actively reporting news about the development of planned Bubba prequel Bubba Nosferatu for only a month or two now. We have been gradually catching up with the news and hearsay about this project. There was one piece of news that I hadn't had time to mention it here yet. A few months ago it was mentioned that Oscar nominee Paul Giamatti was rumoured to have agreed to play Colonel Parker in Bubba Nosferatu. Colonel Tom Parker was Elvis Presley's manager and close friend throughout the singer's career. He was well known to be a 'larger than life' character and he was never far away from Elvis. He wasn't a real Colonel, he was given the honorary title of Colonel in 1948 by Louisana's governor Jimmie Davis. Tom Parker claimed to have been born in Virginia, USA, but it later emerged that he was actually born in the Netherlands. Paul Giamatti's great ability to play fun characters makes him an excellent choice for the role of Colonel Parker in Bubba Nosferatu. Keep your fingers crossed that this rumour is true, I certainly will be!
