Bruce still saying no to Bubba Nosferatu

The signs do not look for him changing his mind.

Resta assured that we are indeed still wathcing out for progress on Bubba Nosferatu, the prequel/sequel to Bubba Ho-Tep. A numbre of months ago we reported that Bruce was not going to be a part of Bubba Nosferatu. He and director Don Coscarelli had not been able to agree on a story for the movie and Bruce decided to step down from the project. There has been a good amount of secret hope from fans that Bruce would reverse his decision and would step back into the role of Elvis/Sebastian Haff for the movie. I watched a horribly poor quality video of a Q&A session with Bruce Campbell recorded on the 17th March 2008 (not 2007 as it says!) and in this interview he confirmed the same details as before. He confirmed that he was not a part of the movie and then swiftly moved on to the next question. It is worth noting that Bruce's name has been removed from the pre-production details for Bubba Nosferatu on IMDB. He had been linked with the project for some time, but his name has now been removed from the listing. I think that the likelihood of Bruce participating is fading away. Can someone else step into the role? Should they step into the role? Should the movie continue without Bruce? I like to think that the project can still be a success for Don Coscarelli and hope that it all comes together. More news as we get it.
