Video Confirmation: No Bruce for Bubba 2

A recent video interview with Bruce confirms our worst fears.

Bruce Campbell was recently interviewed on the red carpet at Spike TV's Scream Awards by the folks over at IESB.net. One of the first questions asked (and rightly so!) was why he wasn't a part of Bubba Nosferatu. At the time of the interview he had already revealed that he was no longer involved some weeks before. We believe that this is the first video confirmation from the man himself though. In the video interview Bruce explains that it was purely down to script issues and not to any other issues. Bruce likes to keeps his cards close to his chest and doesn't give too much away when being pressed on something he doesn't want to talk about. In the interview he states that "I couldn't agree on the script, it happens every day in Hollywood. I didn't want to jeopardise my friendship with Don Coscarelli becuase I feel that the first film is actually really special and we couldn't out a way that we both agreed". He wishes Don Coscarelli all the best with the project. There is a slightly telling moment in the clip where Bruce responds with a shrug when it is suggested that the audience might not accept a change in lead actor. It is an interesting video interview and is worth a watch. The link is posted below. Sad stuff, but there is still some optimism about the production going ahead.

Well its a shame. I'd honestly rather see the original left without a sequel, in place of a Bruce substitute...
